Introduction
The 1st Dogye Nuclear Physics workshop was held June 28-30, 2011 with about 30 Korean nuclear physicists with their families. Since the 1st workshop was so successful for the participants, in specific, for their families who enjoyed their summer vacation at this workshop site as well as other attractive natural environments near to this site.

In the 2nd workshop, we share the workshop with the nuclear astrophysics workshop (August 2-4) supported by the APCTP (Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics). We are going to invite 10 speakers from US, Japan and Korea, and discuss the hot topics and current researches in nuclear physics as well as nuclear astrophysics. Since the KoRIA (Korea Rare Isotope Accelerator) project is now under the 2nd stage, Technical Design, we hope that this workshop would be a valuable workshop about the project as well as other main nuclear physics projects in Korea.
